AmCham CEO Mark Redmond to Step Down Next Year

After an incredible ten years leading the team at the American Chamber of Commerce Ireland (AmCham), CEO Mark Redmond announced this week that he will step down from the position in March 2024.   

AmCham and its members have benefitted greatly from the invaluable experience and tireless leadership that Mark has brought to the organisation and AmCham is deeply grateful to Mark for the dedication, creativity, and enthusiasm that he has brought to his role. 

Speaking on the announcement AmCham President Séamus Fives said; “Mark Redmond has led AmCham through a period of growth and enhanced member representation and services for the past ten years. The AmCham Board is very appreciative of the work done by Mark and his team to ensure that AmCham is Ireland’s most respected and influential international business organisation and the trusted voice of the US-Ireland multinational community."

He added: "We look forward to the appointment of a new CEO who will lead AmCham in its next phase of growth and innovation. Mark will work with the Board and AmCham Team to ensure a smooth transition.” 

Mark Redmond said: “It has been my great honour to serve as AmCham CEO and to have had the opportunity to work with and learn from the incredibly talented people on our Board, our team, and working for our member companies. For the past ten years, I have been inspired by the world-leading talent and innovation demonstrated by the over 310,000 people working for US-Ireland multinationals. Their commitment helps to save and enhance lives across the globe every day. And they do this with steadfast commitment to inclusion and sustainability.  

AmCham has a great team and I wish my successor the very best in leading it on the next phase of growth.” 

We wish Mark every success in the next phase of his career as he establishes his own coaching and advisory practice in mid-2024.
